How we pick tools
Hand-picked by our team.
AI App Hunters lists 558 AI tools, and every one was picked by our team. We add new tools every week and only keep the ones worth your time. Last full check: 18 Oct 2026.
Our weekly review
01
We hunt every week
Our team scans launches, vendor changelogs, connector directories and the AI news every week. Most tools in the directory come from this research, not from submissions.
02
We test against clear standards
A tool has to be live, useful for teams and honest about what it does and costs. We check names, pricing and features on the vendor’s own site.
03
We keep the list tight
If a tool does not make the cut, it is not listed. We remove tools that shut down, rebrand away or stop being useful, and re-check every listing regularly.
04
We label anything paid
Makers can pay for a faster review. That never buys a listing, a ranking or a positive write-up. Paid Featured spots and sponsored items always carry a label.
What we accept
- A working product people can use or buy today
- A clear use case for teams and businesses using AI
- Its own brand and its own official website
- Pricing and features we can confirm at the source
What we turn down
- Waitlists, demos and research projects with no product
- Wrappers that ride on another company’s name (for example "GPT-something" sites not made by OpenAI)
- Duplicates, spam, adult or gambling tools
- Tools we cannot verify, or that hide what they charge
How paid review works
If we have not found a tool yet, its maker can submit it for review. Standard gets a decision within 7 days, Fast-track within 48 hours. Both go through the same standards as every other listing, and we turn tools down when they do not meet them. If we don't publish a tool, the maker gets a full refund.
Approved Fast-track tools get a labelled Featured spot above their category list for 7 days, and a mention in our newsletter and on LinkedIn. Rankings, the Tool Finder and our own write-ups are never for sale.
Missing a tool?
