Configurable safety filters for generative AI apps on AWS, usable with any model via the ApplyGuardrail API.
What it is
Amazon Bedrock Guardrails adds configurable safeguards to generative AI apps: content filters for harmful text and images and prompt attacks, denied topics, word filters, PII and custom regex filters, contextual grounding checks and Automated Reasoning checks. The ApplyGuardrail API works with models hosted outside Bedrock. Billed per 1,000 text units, with word and regex filters free.
MCP server
We have not checked yet whether Amazon Bedrock Guardrails offers an MCP server for AI agents.
