What it is
NeMo Guardrails is NVIDIA's open-source Python toolkit, licensed under Apache 2.0, for adding programmable guardrails to LLM applications. It supports input, dialog, retrieval, execution and output rails, defined in configuration and the Colang language, with jailbreak detection, topic control and content safety integrations. NVIDIA also offers a NeMo Guardrails microservice container for Kubernetes.

We have not checked yet whether NeMo Guardrails offers an MCP server for AI agents.
