What it is
Devin Desktop is the new name for Windsurf, which itself was the rebrand of Codeium. Developed by Cognition, it keeps the Windsurf IDE and adds a place to plan, delegate and review work across multiple coding agents. Existing plans carry over, and a separate Windsurf plugin for JetBrains remains available.
Heads up: Codeium rebranded to Windsurf in 2025, and Windsurf is now Devin Desktop under Cognition. windsurf.com redirects to devin.ai. The listed prices come from the Devin pricing page that windsurf.com/pricing redirects to.
